Sue Enochian is the author
of Whispers of Color, a tapestry for coloring your memories
forever. This innovative book presents color in terms of emotions,
experiences and memories. Enochian describes each of 52 colors
with a unique form of poetry/prose along with original watercolor
artwork that enlivens the imagination. The book is available
in Adult and Childrenıs versions.
There are special names
for the 52 colors such as: Faded Blue Jeans,Daffodil Yellow,
Chili Pepper Red, and Silver Threaded Mercury.When you are
thinking about your past, elements of familiarity arise like
that favorite pair of jeans, Enochian said. Articulating those
feelings into words or pictures is sometimes difficult, so
colorful cards provide ways to express feelings to others.
Whispers of Color has a full line of products derived from
its books, including three creative ways to capture a feeling
within a message.
- Colorful 5 x 5 greeting cards carry
a thoughtful poetic message. The message in each card
is designed to match the emotion associated with that
specific color. For example, when you think of a willow
tree blowing in the wind, it reminds you of a million
arms wanting to hug you. The Willow-colored card reads:

a wish could come true, and there you were. In addition
to the greeting cards, Whispers of Color has designed
2 x 2Connection cards. The idea behind these cards is
to drop a one-line message to someone you care about.
