Once considered the heart of a healthy home, essential oils are making a comeback in our antiseptic world.

People often mistake the difference between an Essential and "fragrant" or "perfume" oils.Perfume oils are man-made synthetic oils that smell good. That's it. They have no medicinal properties and have no effect on our brains. While their more expensive essential oil counterparts actually are fragrant distillations of plants.

Essential oils literally are the very essence of a plant, distilled into a more convenient and functional form for everyday human use. Because they are natural, essential oils are housed in dark bottle.

Essential oils have many uses: Often you¹ll find them in carrier oils for massage, in bath and body products to help soothe our bodies, in linen water to provide a pleasant smell to our ironing or as a room freshener to erase unpleasant odors.
